The Ritual of Cold Plunge
A ritual of resilience, recovery, and release
The cold plunge isn’t just about braving the chill …
It’s about meeting yourself in the moment and awakening something within.
This ritual begins with intention. You enter the water slowly, exhaling as your nervous system shifts and your awareness sharpens. For the next 1–3 minutes, you are fully present your breath deepens, your mind clears, and your body begins its powerful reset.
The cold contracts and awakens. Blood flow increases, inflammation softens, and mood-boosting endorphins surge through your system. What begins as shock transforms into clarity a rush of aliveness that grounds you back into your body.

You emerge reawakened — lighter, clearer, more alive.
Cold plunging is a sacred pause in the rush of life.

The effect:
Cold plunging shocks the mind and the body activating your innate ability to heal, adapt, and reset.
As you immerse into the cold water, blood vessels constrict, reducing blood flow to the muscles and easing inflammation. When you emerge, circulation rebounds, flooding your muscles and joints with oxygen-rich blood to accelerate recovery. The result is a powerful reset that leaves you feeling alive and renewed.
Clinically, cold immersion stimulates norepinephrine and dopamine — neurotransmitters linked to elevated mood, sharper focus, and stress regulation. It also shifts your body from “fight or flight” into “rest and digest,” calming cortisol levels and strengthening your stress response over time.
With regular practice, cold plunging builds mental clarity, emotional grit, and inner stillness — while reducing inflammation and supporting faster recovery.
Stepping into discomfort, breathing through it, and emerging stronger — this ritual echoes far beyond the water.
What to expect:
Stepping into the cold plunge is a practice in presence.
The moment your body meets the water, there’s an instant shock — a sharp inhale, a racing heart, a primal urge to get out. This is your nervous system doing its job, and it’s completely natural.
Then, with slow, intentional breathing, the shift begins.
The cold becomes less of a threat and more of an invitation — inviting you to soften, to surrender, to reset. Your breath deepens, your awareness sharpens, and your mind clears as a surprising sense of calm settles in.
You may feel a rush of energy, tingling skin, or an unexpected sense of peace. Most guests describe feeling more alert, grounded, and alive than they’ve felt in days.
Cold Plunge is an invigorating ritual for anyone ready to awaken clarity, resilience, and recovery.
It’s especially supportive for:
Athletes + active bodies – Cold immersion reduces inflammation, accelerates muscle repair, and enhances performance.
Foggy minds + low energy – A quick plunge sharpens mental clarity, boosts circulation, and elevates mood.
Stressed + overwhelmed – The nervous system reset helps regulate cortisol, reduce anxiety, and create inner calm, while building resilience.
Rundown + depleted – If you’re craving a reboot — physically, mentally, or emotionally — this ritual delivers a full-body refresh.
Whether you're seeking recovery, resilience, or reconnection, the cold plunge meets you where you are and helps you move forward.

This is more than cold water. It’s resilience awakened.
Cold plunging is a sacred pause in the rush of life.
-
Our plunge is set to 45°F and typically ranges between 45–50°F.
-
We recommend starting with 1 minute and gradually working up to a 3 minute plunge. You’ll have 10 minutes in your private cold plunge suite to shower beforehand, regulate your breath, complete your plunge and dry off before exiting the suite.
-
Wear what makes you comfortable. We recommend a clean swimsuit or athletic wear. A shower is required prior to entering the cold plunge; please make sure all soap is rinsed from your hair, body, and attire to ensure soap does not enter the plunge water. (Trust us: it can turn into a bubble bath real quick!)
-
The moment you step in, your body signals to your brain it’s uncomfortable and ignites the fight-or-flight response to GET OUT! This is normal! Establishing a box breathing pattern beforehand helps you stay grounded through the initial shock. The first minute can feel painful — like pins and needles — as your body begins to numb. It can be helpful to focus on breathwork, affirmations, meditation, music or a friend’s encouragement to get you through the shock. After that first minute, you may drop into a flow state, with a sense of “I’ve got this.” Before you know it, the 3 minutes are up. Afterward, you’ll feel frozen, but movement will help rewarm the body naturally and leave you feeling energized, clear, and reset.
